Tucked quietly in the
beautiful green countryside among the sprawling horse farms of Chesapeake City,
MD, just minutes from Delaware, are wonderful loving dogs looking for forever
homes.
These dogs have avoided being euthanized thanks to the efforts of Paws for Life, a
volunteer-run dog rescue facility located on Great House Farm Lane. Paws for Life originated out of a true love for dogs
and a heartfelt belief “that man’s best friend deserves nothing less than our
very best.”
What makes Paws for Life special is their intense socialization
process. Rather than just kenneling a dog and caring for its basic needs of
food, water, and good health, Paws for Life takes time with each dog and observes them in a family
environment to identify their unique personality traits.
